Carlos Clavel, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
carlos.clavel@mssm.edu

Carlos received his B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from Saint Louis University and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. After a short postdoc at the University Leuven, Belgium, he joined the lab in Fall 2008. Carlos's research focuses on the transcriptional control of the hair inducing fate of Dermal Papilla niche cells.

Laura Grisanti, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
laura.grisanti@mssm.edu

Laura graduated with B.S. and Ph.D. in Cell Sciences and Cellular Technology from La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She joined the lab in January 2009. Laura works to establish novel Cre tools to target Dermal Papilla niche cells during hair morphogenesis, growth and regeneration.
